About Me: “I am a Licensed Massage Therapist, Reiki practitioner, yoga, meditation, and sound bath instructor with a passionate interest in alternative health and wellness. I find the magnificence of the human body/consciousness and its ability to adapt to the fluctuations of life awe-inspiring. Helping people slow down and find peace, calm, and reduced or relieved pain amidst all of the stresses (both physical and mental) and turbulence life can encompass brings me great joy.

Massage and yoga are medicine, accessible to all of us, no matter the circumstance. During my work with others and preforming services I hold the utmost respect and integrity towards each person as a unique individual with their own story, gifts, challenges, wants, and needs.

On a personal note I certainly love nature, animals, and exploring all things outdoors. Furthermore, I believe this Earth is a marvel! I love subtle energies and the many fields of study that relate to them, all things science, consciousness exploration, creative arts, and creative people.

Be Here Now Candlelit Yoga Class
  • Meaning: Candlelit slow flow and crystal bowl meditation
  • Level: All levels Slow Flow
  • Description: In this Sadhana, practice, we will explore liberating expressions of mind, body, and breath within the ambiance of candle light. This fully guided class specifically helps link the natural rhythms of the breath to the movements of the body helping the student relax, feel grounded, increase concentration, engage with their surroundings, and stay present in the now. The slow flow helps build both mental and physical strength and flexibility simultaneously in a non aggressive way. Here one begins to explore more deeply how qualities of the mind are affected by changes in the body, cultivating steadiness and ease while exploring how to expand and refine the breath. In this hatha, restorative influenced class we will give the body time to open up, flow through varying sequences of movement, and have ample time to relax and let go of the day.
  • What can yogis expect: Some weeks we bring in more movement into the body. Other weeks are a complete floor practice. Every week we flow slow and end with a 10-15 minute crystal bowl meditation.
  • Who is it perfect for: Accessible to the beginner student or long time yogi alike. This class is for everyone on the journey to self knowing.

Sleepy Pigeon Yoga Class
  • Meaning: Yin/Restorative-inspired yoga
  • Level: All levels
  • Description:  Experience stability in poses held for several breaths to several minutes. These longer holds offer time for students to simultaneously enter a meditative space and facilitate slow and safe release of connective (fascia) tissues. With a focus on internal awareness, cultivate a still mind and soothe the tissues of the body, improve joint mobility, develop flexibility, significantly reduce stress and anxiety, rejuvenate and restore to better adapt to the changes and challenges of every day life.
  • What can yogis expect: Together we move through long slow holds letting it all settle in savasana before ending in a fully guided 10-15 minute yoga nidra relaxation meditation. Yoga nidra (yogic sleep) meditation helps ease the body towards release and surrender found in the sleep state while keeping the mind awake and aware to explore internal consciousness. Leave feeling balanced and glowing from the inside out.

Therapeutic Massage

As a licensed massage therapist I tailor each massage to meet your needs. You may experience the use of heated towels, aromatherapy, Swedish or Deep Tissue technique, Reflexology, manual stretching, or any combination of the various modalities with my professionally trained skill set.

Sports Massage​

This massage modality is designed for the physically active individual to assist in recovery from and prevention of activity related injuries. Massage can reduce muscle stiffness and improve relaxation by reducing heart rate and blood pressure.

Pregnancy Massage​

Pregnancy is the time when a woman’s body endures tremendous stress due to dramatic physical and emotional changes. Using various techniques specially developed for the expecting mother, our therapist will help release the pain and discomfort experienced throughout and after pregnancy.

Abdominal Massage​ (15-minute Addon Only)

This gentle technique is designed for those who particularly experience challenges with digestive disorders and because it also relieves tension in the diaphragm, it may also benefit those with asthma or anxiety-related breathing trouble.

*Please note, that I may use my discretion as to whether or not this treatment is appropriate.

Myofascial Release Therapy

MFR is a safe and undeniably very effective hans-on technique that involves applying gentle sustained pressure (long slow holds) into Myofascial connective tissue restrictions to eliminate pain, continues aches, accumulated tension/stress, and restore motion. This essential “time element” has particularly to do with viscous flow and the piezoelectric phenomenon: otherwise a low load (gentle pressure) applied slowly will allow fascia to elongate. Each Myofascial Release Treatment session is performed hands-on directly on skin without oils or creams. This enables accurate detection of fascial restrictions enabling the appropriate amount of sustained pressure to facilitate release of the fascia.

Integrative Reflexology
In this 30 or 60 minute session the massage therapist works primarily with massaging the feet as well as into the ankles and calve muscles. Through stimulating specific points in the feet, reflexology can specifically help tap into and open up organs and their correlated systems helping your body to transport important information about the source and nature of neurological and metabolic imbalances within the body. Soothe sore feet and generally stimulate the whole body all in one session.

Integrative Reflexology is a four theory approach to reflexology utilizing the tools within all four theories, Structural Alignment Theory, Zone Theory, Meridian Theory, and Psychoneuroimmunology Theory to stimulate the whole body through the feet.

Chair Massage

Clients kneel in a specialized chair equipped with a pad and face cradle to support the overall head and chest. Client is fully clothed and larger muscle groups are addressed throughout the neck, back and shoulders. Additionally sessions may also include arm and hand massage.

Fijian Warm-Oil Scalp Treatment (10 minute Addon Only)

Enhance your self care routine and experience the ancient art of Fijian warm oil scalp massage! Through the use of beneficial oils this ancient island ritual helps to strengthen and condition your hair, ease tightness and tension in the scalp, improve hair growth, increase serotonin, alleviate and prevent tension headaches, and bring nourishment and moisture to the scalp. The heated oils are massaged in to your skin leaving your scalp relaxed and balanced. Enjoy at the end of your massage or as a stand alone treatment by itself!

Pronounced “RAY KEE” is a holistic healing therapy originated in Japan. Sometimes called “Hands-on Healing” or “Energy Medicine” this treatment can be used as a way to transition through states of anger, fear, worry, or sadness, relieve physical symptoms of dis-ease, reduce pain, and ease emotional stress evoking deep states of healing and mind-body-spirit connection, stimulating the natural ability to heal.
